Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: Most Positions At Mayo Clinic Require A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, With A Focus On Neonatal Care.
Current Rn License: Candidates Must Possess A Valid And Current Rn License From The State In Which They Will Be Working.
Neonatal Intensive Care Certification (Rnc-Nic): This Certification Demonstrates Specialized Knowledge And Skills In Caring For Critically Ill Newborns.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Level Iii Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In A Level Iii Nicu, With A Focus On Providing Care To Premature And Critically Ill Newborns.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Role Of A Neonatal Icu Nurse At Mayo Clinic Requires Excellent Communication Skills To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team, As Well As Critical Thinking Skills To Assess And Manage Complex Medical Situations.
