- Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical surgical unit.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition, progress, and response to treatments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Document patient care and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and procedures.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments as needed.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the medical surgical unit.
- Maintain a working knowledge of current medical and healthcare trends and advancements.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and patient care conferences.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Practice.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Medical Surgical Setting.
Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification.
Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge In Medical-Surgical Nursing, Including Proficiency In Wound Care, Medication Administration, And Patient Assessment.
