Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License In The State Of Employment: A Qualified Candidate For This Position Must Hold A Valid And Active Rn License In The State Where The Mayo Clinic Facility Is Located.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For This Role. This Education Provides The Foundation For Critical Thinking, Leadership Skills, And Advanced Clinical Knowledge Necessary For The Complex Nature Of Interventional Radiology Procedures.

  • Minimum Of Two Years Of Rn Experience In A Hospital Setting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least Two Years Of Experience Working As A Registered Nurse In A Hospital Setting. This Experience Will Provide A Solid Foundation For Understanding Hospital Policies And Procedures, As Well As A Strong Clinical Background In Patient Care.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Is Essential For This Role. These Certifications Ensure That The Candidate Is Equipped To Respond To Emergency Situations That May Arise During Interventional Radiology Procedures.

  • Specialized Training Or Experience In Interventional Radiology: While Not Required, Candidates With Specialized Training Or Previous Experience In Interventional Radiology Will Be Highly Preferred. This May Include Completion Of A Post-Graduate Certificate Program Or Previous Work Experience In An Interventional Radiology Department.
