
Registered Nurse - Inpatient Dialysis

- Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Dialysis unit is to provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients with kidney disease. This includes administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team: Our Inpatient Dialysis unit operates as a multidisciplinary team, and the Registered Nurse will work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Assess and monitor patients: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing and monitoring patients with kidney disease, including evaluating their progress, identifying any changes in their condition, and reporting them to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Administer dialysis treatments: The Inpatient Dialysis unit provides specialized care for patients undergoing dialysis treatment. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for administering dialysis treatments and monitoring patients' response to treatment.
- Educate patients and families: As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment, and self-care at home. This will include providing information on lifestyle changes, medications, and potential complications.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: Candidates For A Registered Nurse - Inpatient Dialysis Position At Mayo Clinic Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Provides A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Clinical Practice, Which Is Essential For Providing High-Quality Patient Care.
Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License: All Candidates Must Have A Current And Valid Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Educational And Competency Requirements To Practice As A Nurse.
Experience In Dialysis Nursing: Mayo Clinic Prefers Candidates With Previous Experience In Dialysis Nursing. Candidates Should Have Current Bls And Acls Certifications Or Be Willing To Obtain Them Upon Hire.
