
Radiology Systems Analyst

- Analyze current radiology systems and identify areas for improvement to enhance patient care.
- Design and implement solutions to optimize radiology systems and workflows.
- Maintain and troubleshoot radiology systems to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technology and processes into the radiology systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in radiology technology to continuously improve our systems.
- Train and educate staff on new system features and updates.
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for enhancements or upgrades.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards in relation to radiology systems.
- Participate in on-call rotation for system support and issue resolution.
- Communicate with vendors and participate in system upgrades and implementations.
- Act as a liaison between the radiology department and IT department, providing technical expertise and support.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to understand their needs and provide solutions to improve their workflow.
- Identify and address system issues, troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling patient information.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare It Environment, With Specific Experience In Radiology Systems And Technologies.
Strong Understanding Of Radiology Workflows And Processes, Including Experience With Picture Archiving And Communication Systems (Pacs) And Radiology Information Systems (Ris).
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Radiology Systems, Such As Dicom And Hipaa.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues Related To Radiology Systems.
