  1. Assist with various radiology imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
  2. Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during imaging procedures.
  3. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  4. Maintain and operate equipment used for imaging procedures.
  5. Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or complications during procedures.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and answer any questions.
  7. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  9. Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  10. Keep accurate records of procedures and patient information.
  11. Assist with scheduling and coordinating imaging appointments.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  13. Stay updated on new imaging techniques and technologies.
  14. Attend training and education sessions as required.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  16. Other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Job Qualifications

  • Certified In Medical Imaging: A Radiology Imaging Procedure Assistant Should Be Certified In Medical Imaging, With A Focus On Radiology. This Ensures They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Assist With Imaging Procedures.

  • Experience With Imaging Equipment: Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Various Types Of Imaging Equipment, Including X-Ray, Ct, And Mri Machines. This Experience Should Also Include Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Proper Use Of Equipment.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Part-Time Weekends Position, It Is Important For The Radiology Imaging Procedure Assistant To Have Strong Communication Skills. This Includes Effectively Communicating With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals, As Well As Accurately Documenting Procedures.

  • Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Radiology Imaging Procedure Assistant Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail. They Must Be Able To Accurately Follow Instructions, Maintain Meticulous Records, And Identify Any Issues With Equipment Or Patient Positioning During Imaging Procedures.

  • Flexibility And Availability: Working Weekends Requires A Certain Level Of Flexibility And Availability. Candidates For This Position Should Be Able To Work Weekends And Be Open To Adjusting Their Schedule As Needed. This May Also Include Being On Call For Emergency Procedures.
