
Radiology Imaging Procedure Assistant

- Assist radiologists and technologists in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including x-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions or concerns.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and at ease during procedures.
- Position patients correctly for imaging procedures and adjust equipment as needed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the radiologist or technologist.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment.
- Provide high-quality patient care and ensure patient satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures performed.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Attend and actively participate in training and education sessions to stay updated on new procedures and technologies.
- Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
- Continuously look for ways to improve patient care and department efficiency.
- Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Certified Radiologic Technologist (Crt) Or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Rrt) Credential From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting, Preferably In A Radiology Department.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Radiology Imaging Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols.
Demonstrated Ability To Assist And Support Radiologists And Other Healthcare Professionals During Imaging Procedures, Including Patient Positioning, Equipment Set-Up, And Contrast Administration.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients, Families, And Multidisciplinary Healthcare Teams.
