  1. Research and Development: Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for process improvement and development within the medical field.
  2. Design and Implement Processes: Utilize engineering principles to design and implement new processes, as well as improve existing processes, to enhance the quality of patient care.
  3. Collaborate with Team: Work closely with a team of engineers, researchers, and medical professionals to develop and implement new processes and technologies.
  4. Conduct Experiments and Tests: Plan, execute, and analyze experiments and tests to validate process improvements and ensure safety and effectiveness for patients.
  5. Documentation and Reporting: Document all processes and changes made, and report results to team members and management.
  6. Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all processes comply with regulatory standards and meet the highest level of quality standards.
  7. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues with current processes and develop solutions to resolve them.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, and reduce costs.
  9. Training and Education: Train and educate team members on new processes and procedures to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  10. Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry advancements and trends in medical technology and processes, and apply knowledge to improve processes at Mayo Clinic.
  11. Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure the safety of patients and team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field, With A Focus On Process Development Or Biomedical Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Process Development, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Laboratory Setting.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Process Improvement Methodologies And Tools Such As Six Sigma, Lean, And Kaizen.

  • Strong Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Gmp Guidelines Related To Medical Device And Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Process Improvements To Increase Efficiency And Quality.
