- Provide support to radiologists and other healthcare professionals during procedures and treatments.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of procedures by coordinating patient schedules, preparing equipment and supplies, and assisting with patient positioning.
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology and innovative procedures to assist in providing exceptional patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a positive patient experience.

Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required, With Preference Given To Candidates Who Have Completed A Post-Secondary Program In Healthcare Or Medical Office Administration. Additional Training In Radiology Procedures And Terminology Is Also Desirable.
Medical Knowledge: Procedural Support Assistants In The Radiology Department Must Have A Solid Understanding Of Basic Medical Terminology, Anatomy, And Physiology. They Should Also Be Familiar With The Various Imaging Procedures And Equipment Used In Radiology, As Well As Infection Control Protocols And Safety Procedures.
Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role, As Procedural Support Assistants Will Be Interacting With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. They Must Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Effectively, Both Verbally And In Writing.
Organizational Skills: This Role Requires Strong Organizational Skills To Manage Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Responsibilities. Procedural Support Assistants Must Be Able To Maintain Accurate Records, Schedule Appointments, And Coordinate Procedures Efficiently.
