  1. Perform plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures on patients of various ages and backgrounds.
  2. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in plastic and reconstructive surgery and incorporate them into patient care.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, providing them with compassionate and patient-centered care.
  4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  5. Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their needs, explain treatment options, and address any concerns.
  6. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and potential risks of surgery.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all procedures and patient interactions.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  9. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing research and educational initiatives.
  10. Adhere to the ethical standards and guidelines of Mayo Clinic and the medical profession.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Plastic And Reconstructive Surgeon At Mayo Clinic Must Hold A Medical Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board Certified By The American Board Of Plastic Surgery Or An Equivalent Certifying Organization.

  • Residency Training: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Residency Training In Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery Is Required, With A Focus On Both Cosmetic And Reconstructive Procedures.

  • Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience Practicing As A Plastic And Reconstructive Surgeon, Preferably In A Hospital Or Academic Setting.

  • Strong Surgical Skills: This Position Requires Excellent Surgical Skills, Including Proficiency In A Wide Range Of Cosmetic And Reconstructive Procedures, As Well As The Ability To Handle Complex Cases.
