Medical Degree: A Physiatrist – General Pm&R With Procedural Focus At Mayo Clinic Must Hold A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Typically Includes Completion Of A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathy (Do) Program.
Residency Training: Candidates Must Have Completed A Residency In Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation (Pm&R) Or A Related Field, Such As Neurology, Orthopedics, Or Sports Medicine. This Residency Should Be Accredited By The Accreditation Council For Graduate Medical Education (Acgme).
Board Certification: To Be Considered For A Physiatrist – General Pm&R With Procedural Focus Position At Mayo Clinic, Candidates Must Be Board Certified By The American Board Of Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation (Abpmr) Or Have Completed An Accredited Subspecialty Certification.
