Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient

At Mayo Clinic, we are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our Inpatient team. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic team of healthcare professionals and will be responsible for providing vital assistance in the coordination and preparation of medications across our Inpatient facilities.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will need to possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of pharmacy processes and procedures. Responsibilities:

1. Assist pharmacists in the preparation of medications for inpatient facilities as needed.
2. Ensure accuracy and quality control for all medications.
3. Maintain and organize medication inventory.
4. Monitor and restock prescription areas.
5. Process prescriptions and refill requests in accordance with pharmacy regulations.
6. Provide customer service to patients and answer questions regarding their medications.
7. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
9. Follow safety protocols and adhere to all applicable regulations.
10. Participate in continuing education and training as needed.
