- Develop and produce radiopharmaceuticals for PET imaging procedures in accordance with strict quality standards.
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including radioisotope production equipment, hot cells, and quality control instrumentation.
- Conduct research and development to improve current production processes and develop new radiopharmaceuticals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, scientists, and technicians to ensure efficient and effective production and delivery of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed production records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of radioisotopes and other materials used in production, ensuring timely and accurate restocking.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures for handling and disposing of radioactive materials.
- Stay current with developments in the field of nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceutical production, implementing new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
- Train and supervise junior staff members in production techniques, safety procedures, and quality control measures.
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the PET imaging facility through participation in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development opportunities.
Advanced Degree In Chemistry, Biochemistry, Or Related Field.
Experience In Pet Radiopharmaceutical Synthesis And Purification.
Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Current Good Manufacturing Practices (Cgmp).
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Troubleshoot And Optimize Radiolabeling Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams And Present Research Findings.
