The Pediatric Music Therapist will bring a creative and energetic approach to providing music therapy to pediatric patients and their families.We require that the ideal candidate possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy, or a related field, as well as certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT). The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a variety of professionals. In addition, the ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

1. Provide creative and energetic music therapy services to pediatric patients and their families.
2. Work independently and collaboratively with a variety of professionals.
3. Maintain a safe and positive environment for patients and families.
4. Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
5. Monitor patient progress and adjust music therapy services accordingly.
6. Maintain accurate records and document patient progress.
7. Stay up-to-date on best practices in music therapy.
8. Participate actively in team meetings and other professional development activities.
9. Develop relationships with community music therapy resources.
10. Participate in research projects related to music therapy.
