Job Qualifications
  • Cpr Certification: A Patient Safety Attendant Must Have Current Certification In Cpr (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) In Order To Provide Immediate Assistance In Case Of A Medical Emergency.

  • Basic Nursing Skills: A Psa Should Possess Basic Nursing Skills Such As Taking Vital Signs, Patient Hygiene, And Assisting With Activities Of Daily Living. This Ensures That They Can Provide Direct Patient Care As Needed.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: A Patient Safety Attendant Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Infection Control Measures To Ensure The Safety Of Both Patients And Staff.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Crucial For A Psa As They Often Act As A Liaison Between Patients, Families, And Healthcare Providers. They Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate Any Changes In A Patient's Condition To The Healthcare Team.
