- Providing direct patient care: The primary responsibility of a Patient Care Assistant is to provide direct care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborating with healthcare team: As a Patient Care Assistant, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
