
Patient Care Assistant- Medical Surgical/Progressive Care

- Provide direct patient care: The Patient Care Assistant will be responsible for assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. They will also be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety: It is the responsibility of the Patient Care Assistant to ensure that patients are comfortable and safe at all times. This may involve repositioning patients to prevent bedsores, assisting with mobility, and ensuring a clean and organized patient environment.

Current Certification As A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Patient Care Technician (Pct).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Medical Surgical Or Progressive Care Unit.
Strong Knowledge Of Basic Patient Care Procedures, Including Vital Signs Monitoring, Specimen Collection, And Assisting With Daily Living Activities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Healthcare Team Members And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Records Systems And Ability To Accurately Document Patient Information.
