- Provide compassionate and dedicated patient care to individuals in the Med/Surg Ortho/Uro department.
- Assist patients with daily tasks, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, intake and output, and other important health information.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Remain knowledgeable about patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families during their hospital stay.
- Assist with transporting patients to and from procedures and appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care activities.
- Attend trainings and educational opportunities to continuously expand knowledge and skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and cultural competency in patient interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Equivalent Certification: This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed A Recognized Training Program And Is Knowledgeable In Basic Nursing Skills And Patient Care.
Previous Experience In A Med/Surg, Ortho, Or Urology Setting: Experience Working In A Similar Unit Or Department Demonstrates The Candidate's Familiarity With The Types Of Patients And Procedures They Will Encounter In Their Role As A Patient Care Assistant.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Patient Care Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Interacting With Patients, Their Families, And The Healthcare Team On A Daily Basis. Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Providing Quality Care And Promoting A Positive Patient Experience.
