  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Med/Surg, Ortho/Uro department.
  2. Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  3. Monitor and record patient vital signs, intake and output, and other relevant information.
  4. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  6. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following infection control protocols.
  7. Respond to patient calls in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  9. Document and report any changes in patient condition or behavior.
  10. Help to educate patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
  12. Attend and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and in-services.
  13. Assist with the transportation of patients to and from procedures, tests, and appointments.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement through ongoing education and training.
  15. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification Or Equivalent Training Program Completion

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Medical/Surgical, Orthopedic, Or Urology Unit

  • Knowledge Of Basic Medical Terminology And Procedures, Such As Taking Vital Signs, Assisting With Activities Of Daily Living, And Performing Basic Wound Care

  • Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Patient Care Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team
