  • Conduct legal research on healthcare laws and regulations to support the legal team in their decision-making process
  • Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and policies
  • Maintain and update legal databases and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility of information
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as healthcare providers and administrators, to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Prepare and organize materials for meetings, hearings, and trials
  • Monitor and track upcoming regulatory changes and updates in the healthcare industry
  • Draft correspondence and communicate with external parties, such as government agencies and outside counsel
  • Proofread and edit legal documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Assist in the management of legal documentation, including filing and organizing documents
  • Provide support in preparing for and attending legal proceedings, such as depositions and trials
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or Related Field

  • Certification From A Recognized Paralegal Organization, Such As The National Association Of Legal Assistants (Nala) Or The National Federation Of Paralegal Associations (Nfpa)

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working As A Paralegal In A Healthcare Or Medical Setting

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Laws And Regulations In The Healthcare Industry, Such As Hipaa And Medicare/Medicaid Regulations

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A High Volume Of Legal Documents And Tasks.
