  6. Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care to ensure they have a thorough understanding of their healthcare journey.
  7. Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately and efficiently in electronic medical records.
  8. Work closely with support staff, including technicians and nurses, to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
  9. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  10. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, their families, and colleagues.
  11. Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional development to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the ophthalmology department through active involvement in quality improvement initiatives and research projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree And Completion Of A Residency Program In Ophthalmology Accredited By The Accreditation Council For Graduate Medical Education (Acgme).

  • Board Certification In Ophthalmology From The American Board Of Ophthalmology.

  • Fellowship Training In Cornea And External Disease From A Reputable Institution.

  • Active Medical License And In Good Standing With The State Board Of Medical Examiners.

  • Demonstrated Expertise In Diagnosing And Treating A Variety Of Corneal Conditions, Including Corneal Transplants, Refractive Surgeries, And Corneal Infections.
