Job Description

The Mayo Clinic is looking for a motivated and creative Ophthalmic Photographer to join our world-class team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your considerable skills and experience while providing the highest level of care to our patients. We’re seeking a candidate who is passionate about their work and committed to excellence. To be successful in this role, you must be a certified ophthalmic photographer with at least five years of experience. You should also have a strong knowledge of retinal imaging, fluorescein angiography, and other ophthalmic photography techniques. We’re looking for a professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform ophthalmic photography techniques including retinal imaging and fluorescein angiography.
  2. Operate ophthalmic photography equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  3. Ensure all images taken are of the highest quality and accuracy.
  4. Keep up to date on the latest technology and techniques in ophthalmic photography.
  5. Maintain all equipment in proper working condition.
  6. Train and educate other staff members in the use of ophthalmic photography equipment.
  7. Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  8. Maintain detailed records of all patient imaging sessions.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
