  1. Assist nursing staff in providing direct patient care by performing tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with activities of daily living.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking and restocking supplies, and ensuring equipment is in proper working order.
  3. Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and their families by providing information, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  4. Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner, following established protocols and procedures.
  5. Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
  6. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  7. Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  8. Act as a liaison between patients and nursing staff, conveying important information and addressing patient needs.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve knowledge and skills in healthcare practices and procedures.
  10. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction, reflecting the values and mission of the Mayo Clinic.
