  1. Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine technology
  2. Interpreting and analyzing results from imaging procedures
  3. Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
  4. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all imaging procedures
  5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff
  6. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in technology and techniques related to nuclear medicine
  7. Provide guidance and support to other members of the radiology team
  8. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure understanding and comfort during procedures
  9. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in regards to patient confidentiality and privacy
  10. Continuously work to improve and maintain the quality of imaging services provided to patients
  11. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information
  12. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
  13. Uphold the values and mission of Mayo Clinic in all interactions with patients, staff, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Nuclear Medicine: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified In Nuclear Medicine By The American Board Of Nuclear Medicine Or Equivalent. This Certification Ensures That The Radiologist Has Met The Highest Standards Of Knowledge And Expertise In The Field Of Nuclear Medicine.

  • Medical Degree: A Medical Degree From An Accredited Medical School Is Required For This Position. The Candidate Must Have Completed A Residency Program In Diagnostic Radiology And A Fellowship In Nuclear Medicine.

  • Strong Clinical Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Nuclear Medicine Radiologist. This Experience Should Include Interpreting And Reporting On A Variety Of Nuclear Medicine Studies, As Well As Performing Nuclear Medicine Procedures.

  • Proficiency In Advanced Imaging Techniques: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Advanced Imaging Techniques Such As Pet/Ct, Spect/Ct, And Pet/Mri. They Should Also Be Proficient In Using Specialized Imaging Software And Equipment.

  • Team Player With Excellent Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Have The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team-Based Environment And Communicate Effectively With Other Healthcare Professionals. They Should Also Possess Excellent Interpersonal Skills To Build Strong Relationships With Patients And Their Families.
