  1. Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures to evaluate and diagnose neurological conditions, including but not limited to brain tumors, stroke, and spinal cord injuries.
  2. Provide expert interpretation and analysis of imaging results to accurately diagnose and treat patients.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on imaging findings.
  4. Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and technology to perform and interpret imaging studies.
  5. Stay current with advancements in the field of neuroradiology and incorporate new techniques and technologies into daily practice.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all imaging procedures and patient information.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain procedures, results, and potential treatment options.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  9. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and conferences to discuss patient cases and provide input on treatment plans.
  10. Serve as a mentor to residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in the field of neuroradiology.
  11. Contribute to ongoing research projects and publications related to neuroradiology.
  12. Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain the highest level of patient care and safety.
  13. Represent Mayo Clinic and the neuroradiology department in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Neuroradiology: The Neuroradiologist Must Be Board Certified In Neuroradiology By The American Board Of Radiology Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Radiology.

  • Extensive Experience In Neuroradiology: The Candidate Must Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Neuroradiology, Preferably In An Academic Or Tertiary Care Setting.

  • Strong Diagnostic Skills: The Neuroradiologist Must Possess Strong Diagnostic Skills And Be Able To Accurately Interpret Complex Imaging Studies Of The Brain, Spine, And Head And Neck.

  • Advanced Training In Interventional Neuroradiology: Ideal Candidates Will Have Completed A Fellowship In Interventional Neuroradiology, With Expertise In Minimally Invasive Procedures For The Treatment Of Vascular Diseases Of The Brain And Spine.

  • Commitment To Research And Education: The Neuroradiologist Should Have A Track Record Of Research And Publications In The Field Of Neuroradiology, And A Strong Commitment To Teaching And Training Residents And Fellows.
