Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for patients with a variety of neurological conditions.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technologist and be registered or eligible for registration with ABRET. Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Neurodiagnostics Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Neurodiagnostics Is Essential For This Role, As It Ensures The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of The Principles And Techniques Used In Eeg And Emu Testing.

  • Certification In Eeg And Emu: A Qualified Candidate Should Hold A Current Certification From The American Board Of Registration Of Eeg Technologists (Abret) In Both Eeg And Emu. This Demonstrates Their Proficiency And Expertise In Performing These Specialized Tests.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting: This Position Requires Hands-On Experience In Conducting Eeg And Emu Tests, As Well As The Ability To Recognize And Troubleshoot Technical Issues That May Arise During Testing.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Neurodiagnostic Technologist Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Explaining Procedures, Calming Nervous Patients, And Collaborating With Physicians And Other Team Members.

  • Flexibility To Work Evenings And Weekends: As The Job Title Suggests, This Position Requires The Ability To Work Evening And Weekend Shifts. This May Involve Staying Late To Complete Testing Or Being On-Call For Emergency Cases. A Candidate Must Be Willing And Able To Adapt To A Non-Traditional Work Schedule.
