In this role, you will play a crucial role in operating MRI equipment and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.   1. Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  2. Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
  3. Monitor and assess patients for any adverse reactions during MRI procedures.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques.
  5. Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures performed.
  6. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure proper functioning.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and follow infection control procedures.
  8. Educate and prepare patients for MRI procedures, addressing any questions or concerns.
  9. Keep up-to-date with advancements in MRI technology and techniques.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  11. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and provide excellent patient care.
  12. Uphold the values and mission of Mayo Clinic in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  13. Participate in departmental and organizational meetings and trainings.
  14. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment.

  • Certified Mri Technologist (Mr) Through The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Clinical Experience As An Mri Technologist.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Mri Equipment, Protocols, And Safety Procedures.
