Certification As A Medicolegal Death Investigator (Mdi): This Certification From The American Board Of Medicolegal Death Investigators (Abmdi) Demonstrates The Individual's Competency In The Field And Ensures They Are Up-To-Date On Best Practices And Standards.
Experience In Death Investigation: Ideally, Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Related Field, Such As Forensic Pathology, Forensic Anthropology, Or Law Enforcement. This Experience Provides A Strong Understanding Of Death Investigation Procedures And Protocols.
