- Oversee and manage all aspects of security services at the Mayo Clinic, including physical security, access control, and emergency response procedures.
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors.
- Continuously assess and improve security protocols to mitigate potential risks and threats.
- Lead and supervise a team of security professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their effectiveness and adherence to established protocols.

- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to security incidents, investigations, and training.
- Collaborate with external agencies, such as law enforcement, in investigations and emergency situations.
- Serve as a point of contact for security-related concerns and inquiries from patients, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Security Management: The Manager Of Security Services Should Have A Solid Background In Security Management, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Security Protocols And Regulations: Mayo Clinic Is A Healthcare Organization, So The Manager Of Security Services Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Security Protocols And Regulations, Such As Hipaa And Osha.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Security Personnel And Communicating With Other Departments And Stakeholders. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Communication Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field: A Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Criminal Justice, Security Management, Or Healthcare Administration, Is Often Required For A Manager Of Security Services Position At Mayo Clinic.
Security Certifications: Possessing Relevant Security Certifications, Such As Certified Protection Professional (Cpp) Or Certified Healthcare Security Officer (Chso), Can Demonstrate A Candidate's Expertise And Commitment To The Field Of Security Services. These Certifications May Also Be Preferred Or Required By Mayo Clinic For This Role.
