Education And Training: A Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology Or A Related Field, As Well As Certification As A Phlebotomist From An Accredited Program.
Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures: This Includes Understanding Of Proper Specimen Collection Techniques, Handling And Processing Of Samples, And Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Instrumentation.
Attention To Detail: A Laboratory Service Tech - Phlebotomist Must Be Able To Accurately Document Patient Information And Ensure That Samples Are Properly Labeled And Tracked To Prevent Errors.
