  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in various business units to understand their needs and priorities.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related activities and initiatives within the organization.
  3. Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for IT to drive innovation and enhance business processes.
  4. Lead the development and implementation of IT strategies, plans, and initiatives that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  5. Champion a customer-focused approach to IT, ensuring that solutions and services meet the needs and expectations of end-users.
  6. Provide guidance and direction to IT teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives within established timelines and budgets.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology to identify potential areas for improvement and innovation.
  8. Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning within the IT department and across the organization.
  9. Build and maintain a high-performing team through effective recruitment, training, and development of IT staff.
  10. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness and impact of IT initiatives.
  11. Manage and negotiate vendor relationships to ensure the best value and service for the organization.
  12. Communicate IT plans, progress, and challenges to executive leadership and other stakeholders, providing recommendations and solutions as needed.
  13. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to information security and privacy.
  14. Represent Mayo Clinic as a thought leader in healthcare technology at industry events and conferences.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Or It Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Maintaining Strong Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Including Senior Executives And Business Leaders.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of It Systems And Processes, Including Project Management, Budgeting, And Vendor Management.

  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Bridge The Gap Between Business And Technology Teams.
