  1. Perform advanced imaging procedures and interventions using various imaging modalities, such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
  2. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions or concerns.
  3. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the procedure, monitoring vital signs and responding to any adverse reactions.
  4. Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the best imaging techniques and protocols for each patient.
  6. Review and evaluate images to ensure quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedures, patient information, and any complications or incidents.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in interventional radiology and maintain licensure and certification.
  10. Provide exceptional patient care and customer service, addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing clear and concise information about procedures and results.
  12. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and actively participating in departmental meetings and initiatives.
  13. Adhere to all Mayo Clinic policies and procedures, including those related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Mayo Clinic positively in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Sciences Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Interventional Radiography.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Interventional Radiology Procedures.

  • Proficient In Operating And Troubleshooting Interventional Radiology Equipment.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology Related To Interventional Radiology.
