  1. Develop and implement design concepts that align with the overall vision and goals of Mayo Clinic.
  2. Collaborate with project teams to understand the functional needs and design requirements for various spaces within the organization.
  3. Create detailed drawings, plans, and renderings that accurately depict design concepts.
  4. Source and select materials, furnishings, and accessories that meet aesthetic and functional requirements while adhering to budget constraints.
  5. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
  6. Conduct site visits and provide recommendations for renovations and improvements to existing spaces.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in design techniques and technologies.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure all design solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  9. Manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized records of project details, including budgets, timelines, and design specifications.
  11. Collaborate with other interior designers and professionals to share ideas and best practices.
  12. Adhere to all safety and building codes in all design solutions.
  13. Continuously assess and improve design processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Uphold the values and standards of Mayo Clinic in all interactions and work performed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Interior Design Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Commercial Or Healthcare Interior Design

  • Proficiency In Autocad, Sketchup, And Other Design Software

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes, Accessibility Guidelines, And Healthcare Design Standards

  • Strong Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Clients, Architects, And Contractors.
