- Efficiently and accurately fulfill medication orders for inpatients in a timely manner.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the correct medication, dosage, and instructions are provided to patients.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the pharmacy team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling and dispensing medications.
- Maintain accurate records of medications and patient information.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of medications to ensure an adequate supply is always available.
- Follow proper procedures for labeling, storing, and disposing of medications.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on new medications, regulations, and procedures.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet the needs of patients and the organization.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to address any concerns or questions regarding medications.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) License: Candidates For This Role Should Hold A Valid Cpht License From A Recognized Accrediting Body, Such As The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Experience In An Inpatient Pharmacy Setting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Pharmacy Technician In An Inpatient Hospital Or Clinic Setting. This Experience Should Include A Strong Understanding Of Medication Dispensing And Inventory Management Processes.
Knowledge Of Medication Safety Protocols: As An Inpatient Pharmacy Technician, It Is Crucial To Have A Strong Understanding Of Medication Safety Protocols, Including Proper Labeling, Storage, And Handling Of Medications. Candidates Should Also Have Experience With Completing Medication Reconciliation And Identifying Potential Drug Interactions.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: Working In An Inpatient Pharmacy Setting Requires Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Team. Candidates Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly With Pharmacists, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals To Ensure Accurate And Timely Medication Dispensing.
Flexibility To Work Overnight Shifts: This Particular Role Is For An Overnight Shift, So Candidates Should Have The Ability To Work A Non-Traditional Schedule And Be Comfortable Working In A Fast-Paced Environment. This May Also Include Working Weekends And Holidays.
