- Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure successful execution of patient safety initiatives.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of patient safety initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including healthcare providers and patients, to gather feedback and ensure their needs are being addressed.
- Facilitate meetings and trainings related to patient safety best practices and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to patient safety, and make recommendations for incorporating them into Mayo Clinic's practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of patient safety within the organization.
- Regularly report on the progress and outcomes of patient safety initiatives to upper management.
- Collaborate with other Implementation Coordinators and team members to share best practices and ensure consistency across projects.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient safety initiatives.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient safety.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures related to patient safety implementation.
- Adhere to all confidentiality and compliance regulations related to patient safety.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Patient Safety, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Project Management Or Implementation Coordination In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Patient Safety Principles And Practices.
Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Meet Tight Deadlines.
