  1. Perform routine maintenance and repair on a wide range of medical equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare providers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner.
  3. Conduct equipment inspections and document findings in accordance with departmental procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
  5. Assist in the selection and installation of new medical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  6. Provide support to other members of the healthcare team by responding to urgent equipment requests and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  7. Stay updated on advances in medical technology and equipment to make recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and equipment failures.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with medical equipment and within healthcare facilities.
  10. Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to provide status updates, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Biomedical Equipment Technology Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In Healthcare Engineering Or Biomedical Equipment Maintenance.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting, And Repair.

  • Familiarity With Healthcare Regulations And Standards, Such As The Joint Commission And Fda Requirements.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
