  1. Coordinate and manage daily operations of the Long-Term Stay unit to ensure smooth functioning and efficient patient care.
  2. Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare team members to facilitate effective communication and coordination of care.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  4. Schedule and coordinate appointments, procedures, and tests for patients, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  5. Monitor and track patient progress, report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members, and assist in creating and implementing care plans.
  6. Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available for patient care, and order additional items as needed.
  7. Adhere to all policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations, to maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
  8. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  9. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on organizational policies and procedures, and contribute ideas for improvement.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, families, and coworkers, and promote a culture of compassion, respect, and excellence in patient care.
