
Graduate Intern - Biomedical Ethics
We at Mayo Clinic are looking for a motivated and driven Graduate Intern - Biomedical Ethics to join our dynamic team. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work alongside our esteemed Medical and Ethics staff to develop and promote ethical healthcare practices.The ideal candidate for this position will be a current graduate student in the field of biomedical ethics, medical ethics, or related field. They must have a strong understanding of ethical principles and the ability to apply them in a medical setting. Additionally, they must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be interacting with clinicians and other stakeholders on a daily basis.The Graduate Intern - Biomedical Ethics will be expected to complete a variety of tasks, including conducting research, developing educational materials, and supporting clinical staff with ethical decision-making. Throughout the internship, the successful candidate will gain invaluable experience in the field of biomedical ethics. Responsibilities:
- Conduct research into relevant topics in biomedical ethics.
- Develop educational materials to promote ethical healthcare practices.
- Support clinical staff with ethical decision-making.
- Provide advice and guidance on ethical issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of research and educational materials.
- Attend meetings and workshops as required.
- Work cooperatively with a variety of stakeholders, including clinicians and medical experts.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ethical healthcare practices.
- Participate in the development and implementation of ethical policies and protocols.
- Participate in the training and development of ethical healthcare professionals.
