Job Description

Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Glaucoma Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will use your expertise to diagnose and treat glaucoma patients, while providing personalized care to each individual. As a Glaucoma Specialist at Mayo Clinic, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a renowned healthcare system while advancing your career. The ideal candidate for this position must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Glaucoma Specialist, preferably within an ophthalmology setting. Additionally, you must have completed a residency in Ophthalmology, be board certified (or board eligible) in Ophthalmology, and have the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment. We are looking for an individual who is excited to join a team of professionals dedicated to providing excellent patient care and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and treat glaucoma patients.
  2. Monitor patient progress and provide personalized care.
  3. Educate patients on glaucoma prevention and management.
  4. Maintain accurate and up to date medical records.
  5. Develop and implement treatment plans for glaucoma patients.
  6. Perform surgical procedures as needed.
  7. Provide feedback and recommendations to other medical staff.
  8. Participate in research activities related to glaucoma diagnosis and treatment.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Collaborate with other health professionals to deliver quality healthcare services.
