Job Description

Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable academic to fill a Faculty Position in Clinical Trials and Biostatistics. This position requires a strong leader to provide guidance to our research teams and ensure the success of the clinical trials and biostatistics program. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a clinical trials and biostatistics program, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students and colleagues.Mayo Clinic is committed to providing an excellent learning and research environment for its faculty and students. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide guidance to research teams to ensure successful clinical trials and biostatistics programs.
  2. Develop and implement innovative teaching and mentoring strategies for students and colleagues.
  3. Utilize statistical software packages such as SAS, R, and STATA to design and analyze clinical trials and biostatistical methods.
  4. Maintain a mission-driven approach to research and a relentless focus on excellence.
  5. Prepare and deliver lectures, presentations, and tutorials to students and colleagues.
  6. Collaborate effectively with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
  7. Monitor and assess performance of clinical trials and biostatistics programs.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.
  9. Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
  10. Participate in interdisciplinary research projects.
