Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the Mayo Clinic team! As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to keep the facilities in excellent working condition. The ideal candidate is a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills. The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and at least five years of experience in a similar role. They should have knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and other facilities maintenance activities. Additionally, they must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and repair facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.

4. Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and contractors.
5. Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations.

7. Keep work areas clean and organized.
8. Provide technical support and advice to other team members.
9. Identify and report any potential safety hazards.
10. Collaborate with other departments and contractors to complete projects.
