  1. Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, common areas, and offices to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  2. Follow all infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a clean and healthy facility.
  3. Utilize environmentally-friendly cleaning products and techniques to support the organization's sustainability goals and initiatives.
  4. Monitor and maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products and equipment to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  5. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department for timely resolution.
  6. Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate and prioritize cleaning tasks based on patient and operational needs.
  7. Respond to urgent cleaning requests or spills to ensure a prompt and thorough resolution.
  8. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures to maintain a professional and respectful work environment.
  9. Attend training sessions and educational opportunities to continuously improve skills and stay up-to-date on best practices in environmental services.
  10. Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude while interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  11. Proactively identify and report any safety hazards or potential risks to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline cleaning processes and procedures.
  13. Support the organization's sustainability efforts by promoting and implementing environmentally-friendly practices.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Health Science, Or Related Field.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Environmental Services.
