Job Description

At Mayo Clinic, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Electronic Equipment Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about technology, has a strong commitment to customer service, and is able to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment with ease.The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years experience as an Electronic Equipment Technician, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related field. They must also have a strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit boards, and electrical systems. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.We are seeking a professional and reliable individual who is highly organized and detail-oriented, and who is able to take initiative and work collaboratively with others. Our ideal candidate must also take pride in their work and possess excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills. Responsibilities for this position include:

  1. Diagnose and repair electronic equipment with accuracy and precision.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic systems and components.
  3. Utilize technical manuals and other reference materials to diagnose and repair electronic equipment.
  4. Maintain and update customer records.
  5. Perform preventive maintenance on electronic equipment.
  6. Provide excellent customer service.
  7. Work independently with minimal supervision.
  8. Take initiative and work collaboratively with others.
  9. Demonstrate excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  10. Maintain a high level of organizational, detail-oriented, and multitasking skills.
