  1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the electronic health record (EHR) system at Mayo Clinic.
  2. Collaborate with technical and clinical teams to identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures for the EHR system.
  4. Conduct regular system audits and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and system performance.
  5. Train and educate staff on EHR system functionality and updates.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in EHR technology to make recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.
  7. Participate in system upgrades and implementations, including testing and training.
  8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide status updates on system issues and resolutions.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while working with sensitive patient information.
  10. Attend meetings and provide input on ways to optimize the EHR system for improved patient care and outcomes.
  11. Act as a liaison between the technical and clinical teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  12. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines and expectations.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the EHR system.
  14. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to the EHR system and its use.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Or Clinical Setting, With A Focus On Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Various Ehr Systems, Such As Epic, Cerner, Or Allscripts.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Data And Terminology, Including Icd-10 And Cpt Coding.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Train And Support End-Users Effectively.
