  1. Manage and maintain the front desk operations of the radiation oncology department.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare professionals entering the department.
  3. Schedule and coordinate appointments for patients, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling.
  4. Verify patient insurance and obtain necessary authorizations for treatments.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear and concise information regarding treatments, appointments, and any other relevant information.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient flow within the department.
  8. Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate levels for daily operations.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of department policies and procedures.
  10. Uphold strict confidentiality and privacy standards in handling patient information.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the patient experience.
  13. Participate in training and development programs to further enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Act as a positive representative of the department and the organization, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Medical Office Or Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Radiation Oncology.

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Record Systems, Specifically Epic.

  • Exceptional Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail.

  • Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
