- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and greeting patients
- Ensure efficient and timely flow of patients through the front desk area
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
- Train and supervise front desk staff, ensuring they are following protocols and providing excellent customer service
- Monitor and maintain inventory of front desk supplies and equipment
- Stay up-to-date on healthcare policies and procedures to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to patients
- Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management to ensure smooth operation of the front desk
- Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations at all times.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Desk Operations Or Administrative Role.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or A Related Field.
Proficient In Computer Skills, Including Experience With Electronic Medical Records And Scheduling Systems.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance.
Strong Communication, Organizational, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
