Medical Degree: A Critical Care Physician At Mayo Clinic Must Hold A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification In Critical Care: Candidates Must Be Board Certified In Critical Care Medicine By The American Board Of Internal Medicine Or The American Board Of Surgery.
Residency Training: Prior Completion Of A Residency Program In Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Or Surgical Critical Care Is Required.
Experience In Critical Care: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As An Attending Physician In A Critical Care Setting Is Preferred.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams Is Essential For Success In This Role. Candidates Must Also Demonstrate A Strong Commitment To Teamwork And Collaboration.
