  1. Provide advanced care and expertise in a specialized area of nursing within the Mayo Clinic.
  2. Uphold the values of compassion, integrity, and excellence in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  3. Utilize clinical expertise and evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  5. Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare professionals, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve patient care.
  6. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate interventions to address complex health issues.
  7. Utilize critical thinking skills to identify potential complications and take prompt action to prevent and/or manage them.
  8. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects to advance nursing practice and patient care.
  10. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Clinical Nursing Practice.

  • Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Employment.

  • Certification As A Clinical Nurse Specialist From A Recognized National Organization.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Nursing Experience In The Specialty Area.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Interdisciplinary Teams.
