
Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a member of the laboratory team, the Clinical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to provide accurate and timely results.The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Medical Technology or equivalent certification, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.We are looking for a professional who is passionate about laboratory testing and enjoys working in a collaborative environment to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
- Analyze results of tests and modify procedures as needed.
- Maintain high standards for accuracy and precision in all laboratory work.
- Document and review laboratory results, ensuring accuracy of data.
- Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment.
- Assist other laboratory professionals in completing tasks.
- Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and perform calibrations as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and SOPs related to laboratory work.
- Ensure that all laboratory paperwork is accurate and up-to-date.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals to obtain patient information and provide results.
Excellent Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology Or Related Field
Current Certification/Registration As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) Or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Cls) From The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or Equivalent
Demonstrated Ability To Analyze And Interpret Laboratory Results
Knowledge Of Medical Laboratory Techniques And Instrumentation
Both Written And Verbal
