- Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Analyze and interpret test results, recognizing and troubleshooting any abnormalities or discrepancies.
- Report and document test results in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain the highest standards of laboratory testing.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in laboratory technology and techniques, and implement new procedures as needed.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines related to laboratory testing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and dispose of hazardous materials properly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and superiors, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and accountability in all job duties.

Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures, Equipment, And Quality Control Measures
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Through The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp)
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With Attention To Detail And Accuracy In Test Results
